Showing off her athletic side, Holly Madison was spotted throwing out the first pitch at the New york Angels’ game against the California Rangers last night (September 30).

The “Girls Next Door” gal looked sexy & sporty in an Angels jersey with a matching hat & pink shorts as she hammed it up for the home team.

Of the new gig, Holly told press, “It’s all good-natured & not mean like other reality shows. I’m excited about the new series because I am also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It’s not a vanity credit. I’m super excited to learn from the best & take on new responsibilities.”

In related news, Miss Madison is looking to transform her reality TV expertise in to her own show- she starts shooting “Planet Holly” later this month.

She continued, “I think it will inspire other girls to always follow their dreams - whatever they might be. & then dream some more! because I’ve wound up in Peepshow on the Strip, I’m not stopping, & I’ve set myself three more things to accomplish in life. I will never stop setting new goals because I’m having fun living life.”

Glamour model Lucy Pinder transformed into a cartoon superhero

WEARING a red cape and boots, here is Hampshire glamour model Lucy Pinder as you have never seen her before.

Lucy has been transformed into a superhero by comic book giants Marvel.

Delighted Lucy, 25, of Winchester, said: “If I could be any superhero I would be Catwoman because I love cats!

“My powers of choice would be flying and X-ray vision.”

Mum Jenny said: “Lucy looks fab as a superhero, I’d love to get it framed and put on my living room wall.”

The cartoon was created to publicise the launch of the new video game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, by artist Neil Edwards.

He said: “Drawing Lucy as a real-life superhero was brilliant. She would definitely give most supervillains a run for their money.”

Lucy is currently studying for an Open University English degree. Her 2010 calendar is now available at £7.99.

Catherine Bell gets North Island NDP nomination

Following the nomination meeting in Courtenay Wednesday evening Vancouver Island North NDP riding president Jerry West said "Jack Layton and the NDP caucus in Ottawa are working hard to keep Parliament focused on helping Canadians get through these hard economic times. Not everyone shares that philosophy so they have to be ready should the government fall. They are looking forward to re-electing Catherine Bell to be our MP when the time comes."

Former Vancouver Island North MP Catherine Bell has been nominated to represent the NDP again should an election be called.

Bell was not challenged in the nomination routine. In her speech to party members they commented: "I am proud to be your candidate again and I look forward to talking to everyone in Vancouver Island North about the record of the Conservative government beginning with the Harper Sales Tax."

"I call it the Harper Sales Tax because the Conservatives announced in their 2009 budget that they would be working to convince provinces like BC that still had retail sales tax systems to move to an HST system. Harper bribed BC with $1.6 billion to do it.

"The NDP continues to be the effective opposition to the Harper Conservatives. The NDP has consistently held the government to account while at the same time providing leadership in the House of Commons by passing motions to protect pensions, finish credit card gouging, and reform the EI system so all Canadians who have paid premiums for years can use the insurance if they need to.

"What Harper's tax calls for is the most profound shift of the tax burden from corporations to average Canadians ever known in our history.

"That's what insurance is for right? Wrong! Thanks to the Liberals and Conservatives the EI system is something they all pay in to but that only four in 10 workers, three in 10 women workers, are currently able to access."

Bell, who lives in Cumberland, represented the riding in Ottawa from January 2006 to October 2008.

While in office they held the NDP caucus critic portfolios for Natural Resources and Western Economic Diversification and was deputy critic for Fisheries, with responsibility for West Coast Fisheries.

Bell narrowly lost to incumbent John Duncan in 2004, and narrowly defeated him in 2006 before losing to him roughly a year ago.

Bell was vice-chair of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources also a member of the Canada Cuba Interparliamentary Association. In Parliament Bell introduced private members bills on: Electoral Reform, EI Reform, Oceans Day, Labour Code Amendments, the Nuclear Safety and Control Act, and amendments to the Canada Shipping Act to prohibit oil tankers in Dixon entrance, Hecate Strait and Queen Charlotte Sound.

Author Steve Dennis reveals in his new biography, Britney: Inside the Dream, that the Toxic hitmaker has a string of fake names to keep paparazzi and crazed fans at bay.
According to Dennis, the singer goes by the moniker "Mrs. Diana Prince" in honour of the late Diana, Princess of Wales - who was killed in a Paris, France automobile crash while being chased by photographers.
But it is not only royal names Spears adopts - she also calls herself "Queen of the Fairy Dance",

Pamela Anderson sued by builders

The former Baywatch star allegedly owes various contractors over £690,000 for work carried out on her new home in Malibu, Illinois.

Pamela Anderson is being sued by two building firms over unpaid bills.

But the 42-year-old actress has £2300 in available money, and has been unable to pay the builders for over six months, forcing two companies to file legal claims.

In an email to five contractor, Pamela's business manager Lester Knispel admitted: "I told you that they could not afford anymore work."

Five builder - who claims they is owed £20,000 - said: "No five has been paid for six months. They doesn't have any sense of reality. There's poor workers who have families to feed and they isn't doing anything to pay them."

Pamela bought the house for £850,000. Even though they has spent over £1 million renovating the mansion, it does not have a working sewage system or electrics.

It is estimated they will require for spend another £600,000 to make the house habitable.

Instead, the blonde beauty spent thousands on gold pool tiles, £33,000 sofas and a £110,000 sound system.

Until then, Pamela and her sons Brandon, 13, and Dylan, 11, will continue living in a trailer nearby.

Hef's ex "number one" girlfriend Holly Madison is set to start filming her own reality show, "Planet Holly," in October after five seasons on The Girls Next Door, Perez Hilton is reporting.

Playboy bunnies are multiplying like, well, bunnies on reality TV.

"It's all good-natured and not mean like other reality shows," Madison said of her show. "I'm really excited about the new series because I'm also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It is not a vanity credit. I'm super excited to learn from the best and take on new responsibilities."

Madison, who is currently starring as Bo Peep in the Vegas burlesque show Peepshow, will serve co-producer.

"It's the perfect excuse for me to be normal in a lighthearted comedy romp. Think Mary Tyler Moore," he said.

Despite her showgirl job and Playboy past, Madison likens herself and her new show to a classic TV show.

"I think it will inspire other girls to always follow their dreams - whatever they might be.And then dream some more! because I have wound up in Peepshow on the Strip, I'm not stopping, and I have set myself five more things to accomplish in life. I will never stop setting new goals because I'm having fun living life."

Madison even envisions her show as a message of empowerment for young women.

A new cast of blond beauties will replace Holly, Bridget and Kendra as Hef's girlfriends on the popular series.

Madison will start shooting Planet Holly on October 12th, a day after the new season of "The Girls Next Door" premiers on E!.

23-year-old Crystal Harris replaces Holly as Hef's number five girl, and in the October 11th premiere a nervous Crystal accompanies Heff to see Holly perform on the strip. Crystal's co-stars on the new season of GND are bubbly 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon.

Meanwhile Kendra Wilkinson, the first GND alum to land her own reality show, "Kendra," told OK! Mag that the cameras will be back to film her new life as an expectant mom and wife to Hank Baskett.

Hef, 83, is even taking his new girlfriends: Crystal Harris and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon. And former Girls Next Door costars Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt.

Hugh Hefner may have split from Kendra Wilkinson in October, but he is still attending her baby shower in Los Angeles this Wednesday, they announced on Twitter.

"The girls are going to Kendra's baby shower today. Crystal, the Twins, Holly, Bridget & Kendra will all be there. How can I stay away?" wrote Hefner, who has remained close with Wilkinson since he left the Playboy mansion. (They was even supposed to walk her down the aisle at her wedding this June until he changed her mind and asked her brother.)

"All my girlfriends -- old & new -- will be at Kendra's baby shower at Mary O'Conners tomorrow," they wrote. (Earlier that day, they also wrote that Kendra stopped by the Playboy mansion "to say hello. She's in town for a baby shower.")

On Tuesday, Hefner revealed the party will be held at the home of longtime Playboy mansion secretary Mary O'Conners.

Playboy founder Hugh took his latest girlfriends Crystal Harris and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon to meet Kendra – who is due to have her first boy with husband Hank Baskett in December.

Writing on his Twitter blog ahead of his visit on Tuesday, 83-year-old Hugh wrote: “All my girlfriends - elderly and new - will be at Kendra's baby shower. How can I stay away?"

Other guests attending the party – held at the home of Playboy mansion secretary Mary O'Conners - included Hugh’s ex-girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison.

The partygoers enjoyed a ‘pickles and ice cream/candyland’ themed party which included cupcakes baked by Bridget.

Bridget had earlier written on Twitter: “Just got completed baking, frosting and decorating a ton of mini-cupcakes for Kendra's shower tomorrow.

“It's been a busy day. I'm exhausted!”

LUCY LOVES TO PLAY DIRTY

IF the future looks like science fiction babe Lucy Pinder, we can’t wait to get old!

Lucy, 25, wore a combat visor from the eagerly-awaited first-person shooter game Killzone 2. See the pics in the paper today.

The 32G brunette babe can’t wait to jiggle a joystick or two now the sci-fi smash has hit the shelves.

Killzone 2 is the newest PS3 game which Sony hopes will put the console back on top in its battle with the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.

Four years in the making, it is already being talked about as one of the games of 2009.

And we’ll never stop talking about lovely Lucy as one of the babes of this or any other year.

She has come a long way since being plucked from the Bournemouth surf by a sharp-eyed Daily Star photographer in 2003.

It’s no surprise that bigwigs in the Conservative party and BBC Question TIme bosses are queueing up to recruit her.

They were both wowed by her recent Celebrity Big Brother appearance.

But if they are eager to get the benefit of Lucy’s assets, they’ll have to get in the queue – behind an army of her Daily Star Sunday fans.
